Here is our full programme of monthly meetings for 2018.

18th January - Patchwork Quilting
We'll be getting cosy on this dark January evening with a talk from Brigitte Gillespie about patchwork quilting and a display of some of her quilts.

15th February - Creative Writing
Local author Melanie Whipman will be sharing with us her passion for writing and encouraging us to get creative.

15th March - Easter Sugarcraft
This month we welcome local cakemaker Jane from JJ Cakes, who will be demonstrating some simple Easter themed cake decorating techniques.

19th April - Silent Pool Gin Tasting
Local gin distillers Silent Pool will be joining us with an array of samples to try and a cash bar in case you find any you like and fancy another glass (or a bottle to take home!)

17th May -Resolutions/Speed Friending
This month we'll be debating and voting on the Resolutions shortlisted by NFWI. We'll also be getting to know each other a little better with a "speed friending" session.

21st June - Laughter Therapy
To mark the first national WI Wellbeing Week we're welcoming Laughing John to lead us in a laughter therapy workshop and get us giggling.

19th July - Ceramic Buttons and Beads
We're delighted to welcome Penny Eccles who will be leading us in a ceramics workshop where we'll be making buttons and beads.

16th August - Summer Event - Farnham Spy Trail
Following the success of last year's Murder Mystery Trail, for our summer event this year we're going undercover as spies! This is an open event - friends and family are very welcome - and we'll be charging £2 per person to take part (children under 12 are free). All proceeds will be going to our nominated charity for 2018.

20th September - Clubbercise
To celebrate WI Sports Week we'll be welcoming Kate Shaw from Surrey Fitness who will be leading us in a trial Clubbercise class. Comfy clothes and shoes are a must for this one!

18th October -Dig for Victory
Our speaker this month is Gill Harris with an interesting talk about food rationing during World War II.

15th November - Show And Tell
This month is our AGM and we're also inviting our members to share with us all any interesting jobs or hobbies they're involved in.

20th December - Willow Weaving
